Aspose.iCalendar Development Plans 2004

    Aspose.Word Object Model Background

    One of the main goals of Aspose.Word is to allow programmatic manipulation of document content, such as insert, enumerate, find and replace document elements and formatting.

    Aspose.Word Development Plans for October 2004

    RTF and HTML importers are well underway and we will try to get them delivered in October.

    We had a delay here because implementing the importers required adding new features to DocumentBuilder, which will be useful to many customers too. For example, it will be possible to create headers and footers, more control over list formatting and access to document styles.

    Aspose.Cells.Express preview

    I am thinking of making a new product: Aspose.Cells.Express. The product will utilize SmartMarker technique and will be an Express product of Aspose.Cells.

    Only ExcelDesigner object in Aspose.Cells will be exposed. Users can use this product to import an Excel file with smart markers. Then call the Process method to populate the data.

    Using the designer file with smart markers and a few lines of code, users can create a very complex excel file.

    Aspose.Word and VSTO2005

    Yes, it is “and”, not “vs”.

    Of course, VSTO2005 is one of the hottest topics for us at Aspose as it could be very easy for us to lose any competition to Microsoft.
