We’ve released Aspose.Network v3.5.2.0.

What’s new in this hotfix:

  • Enhanced supporting embedded OLE document in Microsoft Outlook Message.
    • Support extracting embedded OLE1 format document
    • Support extracting embedded Word/Excel/PowerPoint document
  • Enhanced converting from Msg to Mht format.
    • Support showing placeholder in hmtl body if converting to mht message
    • Support more Mht format saving options, by exposed a new class MhtMessageFormatter.
    • Support customize the DateTime format
    • Support removing attachments
  • Support setting body charset using BodyEncoding propery in MailMessage class

Aspose.Words for Reporting Services Runs on Katmai

We’re making huge strides 🙂 Two weeks ago we used our corporate time machine to get back to 2000 and recently we had a trip to 2008… Well probably I’m not an expert in literary techniques so let me simply announce that we have just released Aspose.Words for Reporting Services 1.3.0 and it now supports Microsoft SQL Server 2008 code name Katmai! Aspose.Words for Reporting Services 1.3.0 Released

This is a full-scale release that can be particularly useful for the people who needs exporting reports to the DOC, RTF or WordML formats on the 64-bit edition of Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services. Also, we have added a separate assembly that supports Microsoft SQL Server 2008 code name Katmai.

Currently, Aspose.Words Documentation includes a description of all the exciting Aspose.Words feature in a single table. This is historical. Aspose.Words 1.0 was released in 2003 with a pretty small set of features and using a simple table to describe it all was sufficient. Aspose.Cells for Java 1.8.2 发布

Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services V1.0.0 Released!

Introduction

Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services allows you to deliver native Excel reports in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services. Unlike the built-in renderer for Excel based reports, Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services provides an extended feature set and allows RDL reports to be converted to: Excel 97-2003 binary XLS format, SpreadsheetML or the Excel2007 XLSX format.

Aspose.Words for Reporting Services 1.2.1 Released

This is a minor release containing a fix for the MSI installer.

What’s fixed:

  • MSI installer requires .NET Framework 1.1 to run.

Now the installer supports any version of .NET Framework installed on the target machine.

Apart of this fix, the release includes minor memory optimizations and code refactorings that do not affect the functionality of the product.

We successfully develop and debug ASP.NET 1.1 applications in Visual Studio 2003 on Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit

I’ve upgraded my development machine recently to Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit because we wanted to fully test Aspose.Words on Vista and on 64bit systems.

We have projects for both Visual Studio 2003 and 2005 as we build Aspose.Words both for .NET 1.1 and 2.0. Although Aspose.Words itself is just a class library (not an ASP.NET application) we do have ASP.NET demo application that ship with Aspose.Words.
