Identcode barcode support in Aspose.BarCode for SSRS

Aspose.BarCode for Java now supports Matrix 2 of 5 symbology and Median Smoothing image processing

We added Matrix 2 of 5 symbology support in our latest release of Aspose.BarCode for Java 1.9.0. It supports generation as well as recognition of Matrix 2 of 5 barcodes. We also enhanced the recognition process and added Median Smoothing feature.

Improved Barcode Recognition, Added Matrix 2 of 5 barcode symbology, HLS and Grayscale image processing

We have recently released Aspose.BarCode for .NET v3.1.0. This is a major release that includes new features and some bug fixes.

We added support of Matrix 2 of 5 (2/5 Matrix) symbology in this release. It supports both generation and recognition of Matrix 2 of 5 barcodes.

To improve the process of recognition, we added support of Median Smoothing, HLS and Grayscale image processing.

Improved recognition of 2d barcodes from scanned documents and images

We just released Aspose.BarCode for .NET 3.0.2 hotfix, that contains improved recognition algorithms for 2d barcode images and scanned documents. This will increase the probability of reading barcodes from scanned images and documents (formats supported by Aspose). This fix also contains fixes for the issues reported by customers.

Render BarCode on JasperReports and Export to PDF

A video tutorial is added to Aspose.BarCode for JasperReports documentation recently. Since, this is the first video tutorial in Aspose.BarCode for JasperReports documentation, we decided to show you the basics of adding an image to a report. Report can either be designed using iReport or it can be created manually. Then, we wrote a simple Java program to render barcode image to report and then export it to PDF format for easy viewing and printing.

Save/Retrieve Barcode Images to/from MySQL Server Database

A new technical article is added in our Aspose.BarCode for Java documentation. It features generating barcode images and saving the image in MySQL Server table in binary format, using Java and Aspose.BarCode for Java library. We also showed how to retrieve the image from the table and recognize the codetext from it. SQL script to create the required table and complete Java source code is provided in the article.

Documentation Updates: Using Exchange Web Services to manage items on Microsoft Exchange Server

We introduced a new class ExchangeWebServiceClient in Aspose.Network for .NET v4.8. This class is included in Aspose.Network.Exchange namespace and uses Exchange Web Services internally to connect and manage emails on Microsoft Exchange Server. Since, Exchange Web Services were introduced in Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, this class would work with Exchange 2007 and later versions.

Print BarCode Images on iReport using Aspose.BarCode for JasperReports

We updated our documentation of Aspose.BarCode for JasperReports component and added a new technical article. In this article, we first designed a report using iReport plug-in for Netbeans and added an image on it. Later on we used JasperReports engine SDK and Aspose.BarCode for JasperReports library to insert barcode images in the report.
