Crop Image in Word to PDF and XPS using C# or VB.NET

    Generate XPS Documents in Aspose.Words Online Demos

    We have updated Aspose.Words Online Demos to Aspose.Words 6.5 to show conversion of documents to Microsoft XML Paper Specification (XPS).

    Dinner Invitation is one of the demos. Click on the Demo tab, click on the XPS option and click Submit. The generated XPS document will be sent to your browser. If you have an XPS viewer installed, it will show.

    Aspose.Words Documentation Updated and Reorganized

    We have uploaded an updated version of the Aspose.Words Documentation.

    There were three interesting changes:

    • Programmer’s Guide reorganized to follow the Aspose.Words “mantra” (Conversion, Programming, Rendering, Reporting).
    • Technical Articles grouped according to the “mantra” as well and turned into How-to sections in the Programmer’s Guide.
    • Several new How-to articles published.

    Released all Samples for Aspose.Words

    I have zipped and uploaded all samples for Aspose.Words to http://www.aspose.com/community/files/51/file-format-components/aspose.words-for-.net-and-java/category1177.aspx. There are two ZIP downloads. One for Aspose.Words for .NET and another for Java. The download for .NET includes source code in C# and VisualBasic.NET.

    The downloads include:

    • Source code for all articles in the Aspose.Words Documentation.
    • Source code for all snippets in the Aspose.Words API Reference.
    • Additional useful sample projects.

    Aspose.Words participates in the ODF Plugfest Interoperability Workshop

    The first of a series of events that will bring together implementors of OASIS OpenDocument Format/ISO 26300 to unilaterally test and discuss implementation issues of ODF with each other.     Aspose.Words for .NET 6.4.0 Supports Exporting to PDF/A-1b

    We have just released Aspose.Words for .NET 6.4.0 that includes the following:

    • Export to PDF/A supported
    • Export to ODT details are included in the documentation
    • 70+ fixes

    PDF/A Supported

    By default, when converting documents to PDF, Aspose.Words for .NET creates PDF 1.5 comliant files. But now you can specify whether you want to have PDF 1.5 or PDF/A-1b compliance. We are planning to support PDF/A-1a in the next few months as well.
