Aspose.Cells.Web Development Plan

We are working to add “edit” capability to Aspose.Cells.Web.Viewer and upgrade it to Aspose.Cells.Web.

In the next formal release, you will be able to edit the content in the web page and post the data back to server. In the server, you can retrieve the data to a data object, such as a datatable. And you can save the changed data to an Excel file.
 
It will be available about on the mid of February.

Aspose.Cells.Express preview

I am thinking of making a new product: Aspose.Cells.Express. The product will utilize SmartMarker technique and will be an Express product of Aspose.Cells.

Only ExcelDesigner object in Aspose.Cells will be exposed. Users can use this product to import an Excel file with smart markers. Then call the Process method to populate the data.

Using the designer file with smart markers and a few lines of code, users can create a very complex excel file.
