Aspose.Flash for .NET 1.6.0.0 Released

Stable release which contains all fixes from 1.5.* versions.

What’s New:
  • Added possibility to compile action script with flash.* classes.
  • Added DefineShape4.ShapeId read/write property.
  • Added read/write access for FlashObject.Id property.
Fixed:
  • One more workaround for swf files with “broken” tags which have wrong tag size.

Aspose.Slides for JasperReports 1.2.0.0 Release

What’s New:
  • Improved integration with JasperServer. See documentation for integration details.
  • Implemented 3 different ways of licensing exporter.
  • Possibility to define individual template presentation for each report or change default template for all reports.
Fixed:
  • Possible exception in case of image referenced by URL is not available.
  • Too strong obfuscation which did not allow using exporter parameters with JasperServer.

Please welcome new release of our Aspose.Slides for Reporting Services product.

This release contains new high fidelity rendering engine which now supports reports of any complexity with nested tables, groups, lists and etc. To implement it we had to give up using native MS PowerPoint tables because they are very limited by content. Aspose.Metafiles for Java 1.3.0.0 Released

We have released Aspose.Metafiles for Java 1.3.0.0

What’s New:
  • Metafile.getTextStrings() method. Returns all text strings from a metafile.
  • TextOutOperation class which represents text string in a metafile with simple rendering rules like transformation matrix, position, color and font.
  • Metafile.getTextOutOperations() method. Returns array of TextOutOperation objects.
  • (get|set)MinPixelCount and (get|set)MaxPixelCount values which define minimal and maximal limits for image size (x*y) generated by createDefaultRendering() method. Image will be scaled in case it exceeds limits.

Please welcome our new product Aspose.Slides for JasperReports!

Aspose.Slides for JasperReports is an external exporter for JasperReports and the only known solution on the market that makes possible exporting reports from JasperReports to Microsoft PowerPoint PPT and PPS formats.

The Zip file contains Aspose.Slides.JasperReports.jar, instructions how to configure it and API reference.

Licenses for purchase will be available in next few days. Without license exporter will produce presentations with watermark.

Aspose.Slides for Java 1.8.0.0 Released

What’s New:
  • Memory and speed optimization of ppt files reading/writing.
  • New optimized tables engine.
  • Possibility to read file name of OLE1 objects.
  • Shape.addTextFrame method returns created TextFrame now.
  • Slide.addNotes returns created Notes object.
  • If slide notes exist but don’t have paragraphs then one empty default paragraph will be inserted automatically on presentation writing.
  • Presentation.deleteHandout() method.
  • Shape.hasExternalData() method to determine if shape has some hidden data (in case shape is not recognised as OleObjectFrame, AudioFrame etc.)
  • Improved text rendering on slides.
