Aspose.Metafiles for Java 1.5.0 Released

Dear Customers,

We are glad to announce new Aspose.Metafiles for Java 1.5.0 release.

This is maintenance release which includes all fixes provided in the 1.4.* versions of Aspose.Metafiles. This release also contains workaround for the incorrect processing of font glyphs in the JRE 1.5 where GlyphVector.getGlyphCharIndices() returns char indexes in a wrong order.

Aspose.Slides for Reporting Services 3.2.0

Dear Customers,

We have released Aspose.Slides for Reporting Services 3.2.0.

This release is based on the latest version of Aspose.Slides for .NET and introduces a new export format. Now you can export your RDL reports to Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 Presentation PPTX in addition to the previously supported formats like PPT and PPS. Also, there are several fixes for the issues reported by customers.

Aspose.Slides for .NET 3.1.0

We have released Aspose.Slides for .NET 3.1.0.

In this release we have added several new PPTX features like allowing access to document properties, tags, ole objects, audio and video clips and etc. We have also fixed many problems in both PPT and PPTX presentations processing and have improved PDF rendering.

Aspose.Slides for .NET 3.0.0

Aspose.Metafiles for Java 1.4.0 Released

We released Aspose.Metafiles for Java 1.4.0 today.

That is maintenance release and contains several important fixes only.

Since it’s first release published 3 years ago Aspose.Metafiles became very stable and renders most of WMF/EMF metafiles with highest quality. Thank you to all customers who reported bugs, requested better support of metafiles specification and waited for fixes.

Aspose.Slides for Reporting Services 3.0.0.0

The long-awaited Aspose.Slides for Reporting Services with full support of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 is here. All new introduced RDL elements are supported!
We tried to make exported presentation look as close as possible to a report exported with standard TIFF image exporter.

Also there is new installer available which should automatically install Aspose.Slides to all existing instances of Reporting Services 2005 and 2008.

We are happy to announce Aspose.Slides for Java 1.9.0!

What’s changed:

  • Ported latest pptx updates from .NET version of Aspose.Slides.
  • Additional optimization of PPT format reading and writing.
  • Improved rendering of autoshapes.
  • Dozen of fixes and enhancements since last hot fix.

In the following Aspose.Slides for Java releases we plan to introduce our new rendering engine ported from .NET

Aspose.Slides for Reporting Services 2.1.0.0 Release

This 2.1.0 release and latest 2.1.1 hot fix are merged with latest stable version of Aspose.Slides for .Net.
Also there are several issues were fixed:
  • FitShapeToText didn’t work in previous versions so it was possible that long text blocks didn’t fit to calculated rectangles.
  • Text could be cut off in case it doesn’t fit to a rectangle and CanGrow property set to false.
  • No text background for summary and some other fields.
  • Bold, Italic and Underlined fonts wasn’t rendered properly
