Aspose.Network for .NET supports messages (eml, mht and msg format) with Swedish, Japanese and Russian characters
We have recently released a new version of Aspose.Network for .NET 5.2. In this version, we fixed various issues related to loading and saving messages with non-English language characters like Japanese, Russian and Swedish. Some other bugs were also fixed which were reported on the forums by our customers. This version is also compatible with .NET framework 4.0 client profile and hence can be used with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4.0.

Render Reports in Excel 2007 formats and use JasperReports 3.7 with Aspose.Cells for JasperReports 1.1.0
We have published Aspose.Cells for JasperReports v1.1.0 for the users.
In this version, we have supported Microsoft Excel 97 to 2003 and Microsoft Excel 2007 formats. More details can be found at the document Configuration Parameters in the product documentation. We have also fixed several issues of calculation in report element size. Moreover, the component, now, supports JasperReports 3.7.
There are some other fixes and enhancements too.

Usage Rights Signature Field Check Supported in Aspose.PDF for Java
We have published a new release of Aspose.Pdf.Kit for Java. In Aspose.Pdf.Kit for Java 2.9.0, we have provided support for signature fields. You can specify the location for signatures using signature fields and then fill these fields with signatures. You can see a sample on this link.

Project summary information for MPP document writing, custom properties read and write support added in Aspose.Tasks for .NET
A number of customers have been looking for MPP write support and we are moving ahead in this regard. Aspose.Tasks for .NET 2.8.0 has introduced reading an existing MPP file, updating project summary information and then writing updated project in original MPP file format in the licensed version. We have also added features of reading and writing custom properties of an MPP document. In addition, a number of bugs have been fixed.

Back from the ODF Plugfest
Four of us from the Aspose.Words team attended the ODF Plugfest in Granada, Spain. Although it ended 17th April I got back home just now thanks to the volcano. Had to go back via Rome instead of London.
Anyway, I think we did well both for Aspose.Words support of ODT as well as for the OpenDocument ecosystem in general:

New flavor of OOXML: what it is and what we’ve done about it
Not so long ago International Organization for Standardization has accepted newer OOXML standard ISO/IEC 29500:2008 (supported by MS Word 2010) that became an extension of the older ECMA-376:2006 standard (supported by MS Word 2007).
Now we’re happy to confirm that Aspose.Words for .NET 9.0 supports ISO/IEC 29500:2008 Transitional. The implementation contains some limitations which should not affect your document workflow but if you think they do please let us know. Read on for more details.

Set Formulas beyond Excel 2003 Restriction and Render Charts in Excel to PDF with Aspose.Cells for Java 2.2.0
